It all starts with a premium-polymer tip that begins working the instant you pull the trigger. The sharp tip and the bullet's profile combine to improve the SST's ballistic coefficient. On impact, the tip is pushed backward into the lead core to initiate immediate expansion. The specially designed jacket grips and controls the expanding core, allowing the bullet to reach its optimum diameter while retaining mass and momentum. This chain of events creates deep, dramatic wounds the instant the SST penetrates the hide.

The SST's InterLock ring ensures perfect expansion and higher weight retention. The jacket's thickness is precisely controlled to ensure optimum expansion.
