I have owned and used the BOKER/SCHANTZ INTEGRAL DAGGER for two years. Believe me when I tell you that I am extremely rough on my kit. This dagger
is heavy, sharp, amazingly strong and as indestructible as any knife I've owned. It absolutely will not bend or break. Although I haven't set out to break it. It's integral aspect makes this dagger quite a handfull so if you have large and XL hands this is the dagger for you. Not to suggest that it is less desirable for the smaller handed people. Be careful when you take it out of the box because it is sharpened. One of the things that drew me to the BOKER/SCHANTZ dagger is the heavy-duty integral hilt. I've found it is impractical and crazy dangerous to buy a combat knife without a strong and substantial 'hand guard'. If there is any faults in this dagger it is the sheath. It comes with a black leather sheath that would be fine for camping but I was surprised that it didn't come with Kydex or other weather-proof composite sheath. My solution was to us harness leather to construct a sheath complete with tether holes top and bottom for ease in attaching the weapon securely no matter how you choose to carry it. Another shortfall would be it ain't made for concealment. The BOKER/SCHANTZ DAGGER
is a large, robust, heavy-made fighting knife that will not let you down(period)
